Motorcoach Council Extends Deadline for Market Research, Branding and Advertising RFP (Request for Proposals)

Denver, CO, July 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Motorcoach Council, Inc. has elected to extend the calendar of dates for their first request for proposals (RFP) to solicit firms capable of developing and executing a comprehensive and multi-faceted marketing strategy for a two-year campaign that promotes the motorcoach industry as the safest, most convenient and cost effective, luxurious means of environmentally conscious transportation.

The Council expects to award one or two contractors as a result of this RFP depending on their scope of service, professional background and pricing structure. The maximum amount available for this project is $1.1 million in year one.

The Council has published its new schedule of dates for the RFP:

· Friday July 18, 2008 Last date to submit written questions
· Friday, August 1, 2008 All sealed proposals due to the Council by 5:00 pm
· Monday, August 25, 2008 Finalist selected
· September 15-16, 2008 Presentations to the Board (Denver, CO)
· Final selection of agency (TBD)
· Contract executed and work begins (TBD)

Proposals should include: a statement of technical work; an estimate of time and resources needed; a work schedule and completion date; and an itemized list of deliverables. Copies of the RFP and all updates are available online at: www.MotorcoachCouncil.org. The deadline to submit the RFP is 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2008.
