Animal Shelter Benefits from BDBC Celebration

Bull Dog Bag Company launches new product. To celebrate, partial proceeds will be donated to local no-kill animal shelter.

Dallas, TX, July 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Bull Dog Bag Company, a pet-accessories company located in Dallas, Texas, is pleased to announce that BDBC t-shirts will soon be available for purchase through the company's website. The company, which is primarily known for the Bull Dog Bag, a tote for dog owners that allows them to carry things for their dog in one convenient package, made the decision to design and sell t-shirts because "people kept asking if we had anything they could wear", says the company's owner, Mr. C. Trotter.

"We would get emails from people or see people on the street who had our totes and they would rave about how much they liked our product. And sooner or later, the question of if and/or when we would have t-shirts available would ultimately come up."

To celebrate the launch of the new t-shirts, Bull Dog Bag Company will donate a portion of profits made from the pre-sale of these shirts to a local no-kill animal shelter, located in Plano, Texas.

"I read in the news on a daily basis that animal shelters are being overwhelmed with an increasing number of dogs and cats being abandoned by their owners, due in part to the decline in the economy", Mr. Trotter continues. "Regular shelters are struggling, but No-Kill shelters are having an even harder time, as adoptions are down, space is limited and the cost to house and feed these animals keeps rising. Whatever my company can do to help, we will do."

Beginning Monday, July 14, 2008, and continuing through the end of the month, $5 from each sale of BDBC t-shirts that are pre-ordered though the website (www.Bulldogbagcompany.com) will be donated to the no-kill animal shelter. The shirts sell for $19.99, will initially be available in Black and in "Large" and "Extra-Large" sizes. They will feature the same logo as on Bull Dog Bags.

In addition, the company plans to introduce a limited-edition "1976" t-shirt, which will sell for $34.99 each. These shirts will be made from high-quality Bamboo material, in an effort by the company to become more earth-friendly. The release date for these shirts has not be announced, however, and are not apart of the current pre-order promotion.
