Author C.T. Heinlein’s New Book, "Goddaughter Blues," is an Intriguing Novel That Follows a Private Investigator on His Search for His Missing Goddaughter
Recent release “Goddaughter Blues” from Page Publishing author C.T. Heinlein is an entertaining narrative that takes readers into the life of a private investigator as he searches for his goddaughter who has been kidnapped.
Hemlock, MI, February 02, 2026 --(PR.com)-- C.T. Heinlein, who was born in Bay City, Michigan, has completed his new book “Goddaughter Blues”: an action-packed story that follows an independent private investigator with a reputation for solving Concave-based kidnappings.
Author C.T. Heinlein was part of the second graduating class of John Glenn High School, where he went on to letter in wrestling. After high school, he went on to earn a BS in education from Central Michigan, where he was one of the star members of the Judo Club. He used his love of sports to teach and coach in Kuwait, Liberia, and Texas. He was blessed with a son and a daughter, four grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters. From his son, Charlie, he learned the true meaning of “If a person is close enough to be called a friend, they are close enough to be considered family.” Now his family includes students (past and present), friends of his kids, and a collection of the best people the world has to offer. This extended family helped him survive the loss of his son Charlie while serving in Iraq, and they continue to give him the strength to write and dream.
Heinlein’s other works include “The Evil of the Witch Rose,” “Enigma of the Witch Rose,” The Essence of the Witch Rose,” and “PI Blues.”
Heinlein writes, “Working as an independent White private investigator was not exactly a dream job in our post-famine society. If not for my contacts in the Concave, I might have given up and gone into the street cleaning business on my hands and knees. It took some hard work to build those contacts and a reputation for solving Concave-based kidnappings, one far better than any of the big real-world agencies could claim. That is why Beth’s mother, Dana, came to me with a claim her daughter had been kidnapped. I figured it was just another runaway after their bi-nightly argument. They had been doing that since Beth’s father, one of my military family, had died. At times, I had trouble knowing if becoming Beth’s godfather had been a blessing or a curse. Luckily, I loved Beth. Because this time, having Beth as my goddaughter leaned way past being a curse.”
