McCormick, SC, March 02, 2026 --(PR.com)-- Fred Richter has completed his new book, “All the Good Things: The Path to a Happier Life”: a useful and helpful work that includes suggestions on how to overcome the many obstacles and barriers that prevent happiness and perhaps produce negative feelings and thoughts as everyone lives through the events of life.

Author Fred Richter, now experiencing old age, has had many, many opportunities in his life to help other people. He’s the father of five children, has ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, has lived through a few marital relationships, and has experienced the deaths of many loved and close people.

In his many careers, helping people was his main purpose. In all his business practices and professions, his primary goal was to give the best possible service and fulfill the needs and goals of his multiple clients. He was also a college instructor for thirty-one years, teaching many motivational and special goal-related courses.

He has written many things in his lifetime but chose to publish none of them until this book. He has also been a motivational speaker for many different groups of people, some nationwide, helped a lot of people with personal counseling, and was involved in some religious practices. He has been a close follower of many Native American teachings, history, and experiences. He has also helped all the people in his community with free tech support for all Apple products. Currently, he has been hosting and leading a “Metaphysical Discussion Group” for over eighteen years, exploring the joy of life, creating happiness, and exploring the mysteries of life and metaphysics.

He made his goal in writing “All the Good Things” to share his many experiences and learnings of life with those who read it and give lots of suggestions on following the “path to a better life.”

Richter writes, “There was a seed, a simple, tiny, unremarkable seed that was left to rot away on the ground in a field at the edge of the woods. It felt very lost, alone, and abandoned. It had been part of a plant that had grown old, withered, and died, along with many others in its company. Other seeds had fallen from this plant and from other plants. Some were blown away by the wind; birds and small animals ate some, and others were dried out by the sun, losing their most valuable energy and dying. Now there was just this seed. As its shell began to deteriorate, it became worried that it, too, was about to die. Despair was all it could feel. After all, it was deserted, had no hope, no future. It was ugly, colorless, and insignificant. It had no protection and no power and could possess nothing. So it gave up and began to rot.”
