Post Fact Productions Announces World Premiere of "New." Play for the Avant Hard

Santa Monica, CA, July 25, 2008 --(PR.com)-- In a post-apocalyptic setting, two young and flamboyant socialites, Rachel Kolar & Lauren Brown, are depressed by the bleak state of the aftermath of war. No longer is there room for extravagance, no longer are there parties and delusions of grandeur. In attempts to glorify the need for excessive materialism they devise a movement of neon colors, empty consumerism, absurd rules of engagement and foppish costumes. When their movement takes a turn too dark for the pretty pair of dipsomaniacal flamingos, chaos ensues. What is left for our sad debutantes? The only thing left after destruction, to build a bomb to blow up the world.

Post Fact Productions is tickled to introduce you to the original play 'New.', starring Lauren Brown and Rachel Kolar, showing at Theatre 6470, July 28th and 30th at 8pm. The second performance will take place at The Complex Theater in early October.

Co-founders Rachel Kolar & Lauren Brown both studied at New York University's Tisch School of The Arts. Lauren Brown in The Experimental Theater Wing and Rachel Kolar in Playwrights Horizons.

New. is an original work written by Rachel Kolar and choreographed by Lauren Brown.
