RemoveGlassesGlare.com Launches One-Click Web App to Remove Glasses Glare from Photos
Nearly every glasses-wearer has a photo ruined by glare across the lenses, hiding the eyes. A new web app, RemoveGlassesGlare.com, removes it in one click, and runs against how most photo editors work: a couple of dollars instead of a subscription, no account needed to fix a single photo, and every uploaded image deleted within 24 hours.
San Francisco, CA, August 30, 2026 --(PR.com)-- Photos capturing precious moments like a wedding or even a get-together with friends can sometimes have an unwelcome guest: glasses glare. This is often a bright reflection across the lenses, hiding the eyes, usually noticed only after the moment has passed when the picture can't be retaken. A web app launched this year, RemoveGlassesGlare.com, removes that glare in a single click, and does it in a way that runs against how most photo-editing tools work. There is no monthly subscription, no account is needed to fix a single photo, and every uploaded image is deleted within 24 hours for privacy.
Glasses glare is one of the most common flaws in photos and one of the hardest to fix, because the reflection sits directly over the eyes. It is also often a pain-point when it comes to passport, visa and ID photos. The tool handles the usual causes automatically: harsh sunlight, the blue-white shine of screens and windows, ring-light reflections, colored glare, and soft indoor reflections.
It runs in the browser, with nothing to install. A photo is dropped in and a glare-removed preview appears for free. A single photo can be fixed without creating an account, and a folder of dozens can be processed in one batch. Rather than being stored, uploaded images are deleted, a deliberate choice for a product aimed at the photos people are least comfortable uploading anywhere.
"Fixing one reflection shouldn't mean a monthly subscription, an account, and
handing your photos to a company that keeps them," said Megh Chirravoori, who built the tool after struggling to remove the glare from his own glasses in an important photo. "I've also always valued doing one thing well, and that's why the site specializes in exactly this one thing."
The tool is free to preview at https://removeglassesglare.com.
