Recent Release, "A Housewife Prays," from Christian Faith Publishing Author Marlene Hutchinson, Shows How Faith Transforms Ordinary Moments Into Divine Encounters

Detroit, MI, September 03, 2026 --(PR.com)-- Marlene Hutchinson has completed a new book, "A Housewife Prays," a collection of short stories that reveal the profound intersection of daily living and spiritual awakening. Through intimate narratives drawn from her own experience, Hutchinson captures moments when ordinary circumstances become gateways to the extraordinary. These tales emerge from situations that could unfold in any household, any community, any life—yet they demonstrate the singular power of trusting in a higher purpose when doubt threatens to take hold.

Born in Filer City, Michigan, in 1939, Hutchinson's journey toward becoming an author began with a stirring conviction during a church Christmas play rehearsal in December 1964. She sensed God's calling upon her life and felt assured that his plan included both a radio ministry and a published testimony. Rather than passively await fulfillment, she pursued formal education in journalism, equipping herself with the tools necessary to share her story. Her work first appeared as a regular column in Value Line, a shopper's guide, and she subsequently established herself as a broadcaster, hosting "The Master's Touch" on WKJR in Muskegon, Michigan. The chapters within "A Housewife Prays" draw from these foundational columns, refined through decades of reflection.

"A Housewife Prays" addresses the universal struggle between faith and fear, showcasing how believers overcome self-doubt and the shortsightedness of skeptics. Readers will discover narratives of individuals who stepped boldly into their convictions despite ridicule, discovering that when one genuinely surrenders control to divine guidance, miraculous outcomes follow. These enlightening accounts speak to the heart of anyone wrestling with their own belief, offering tangible evidence that prayer paired with courageous action creates genuine transformation.
"When you step out in faith and ask the Lord to take over, you'd better be ready for miracles to occur because they are going to happen," said Hutchinson.

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Marlene Hutchinson's spiritually rich work encourages readers to recognize God's hand in their own circumstances. This collection empowers believers and seekers alike to embrace their divine calling with renewed confidence and purpose.

Readers who wish to experience this faith-affirming work can purchase "A Housewife Prays" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
