Recent Release, "The Lil' Red Jeep," from Covenant Books Author Milissia Owens, Celebrates How Faith and Service Transform Communities Through Everyday Acts of Compassion

Raceland, KY, September 08, 2026 --(PR.com)-- Milissia Owens has completed a new book, "The Lil' Red Jeep," a charming children's story that follows the adventures of a faithful vehicle ready to answer the call whenever her church community needs help. Through the narrative voice of Dave Daniels and the vibrant illustrations of Bob Smith, Owens crafts a tale that demonstrates the profound truth at its heart: with God, all things are possible. Each page reveals another opportunity for the Jeep to serve, whether through mission work or neighborly assistance, showing young readers how ordinary tools can become instruments of extraordinary grace.

As a devoted child of God, wife, mother, grandmother, and veteran, Milissia Owens brings authentic spiritual conviction to her storytelling. Her life experience infuses every word with genuine warmth and purpose. This background allows her to speak with credibility to both children and adults about the joy found in responding to others' needs.

"The Lil' Red Jeep" invites readers into a world where readiness and generosity go hand in hand, where a simple Jeep becomes a symbol of God's willingness to work through willing hearts. Young audiences will discover that being available to help is itself a form of prayer, and that service—no matter how small it may seem—carries the potential to change lives and strengthen communities. The story's heartfelt message resonates with families seeking literature that entertains while reinforcing values of compassion and trust in divine provision.

"I wanted to create a story that shows children how God works through everyday people and situations," said Owens. "The Lil' Red Jeep represents our readiness to serve, and I hope readers see themselves reflected in that willingness to answer when their community calls."
Published by Covenant Books, Milissia Owens's uplifting work encourages young readers to embrace service and discover their own capacity to make a difference. This touching tale reminds families that faith is lived through action, and that God's love flows most beautifully when we remain available to those around us.
