Fieldcode Expands Control for Multi-Group Field Service Operations

New controls give dispatchers broader visibility across service groups while allowing organizations to maintain defined administrative boundaries

Nuremberg, Germany, September 16, 2026 --(PR.com)-- Fieldcode has expanded its field service management platform with new controls for organizations managing operations across multiple dispatch groups. Dispatchers can now select multiple groups within Fieldcode’s operational workspace and view engineers and assigned work across those groups together. Enhanced user administration controls also allow organizations to define which users individual roles are permitted to edit.

The update addresses an operational challenge for distributed service organizations. Work may be divided by region, customer, service area, or operational unit, while dispatchers still need visibility across several areas. Administrative access, however, may need to remain limited according to individual responsibilities.

This is particularly relevant for IT and telecom service organizations coordinating work across multiple regions, customer accounts, service territories, or specialist teams. Dispatchers may need visibility across several operational groups while user-management permissions remain aligned with local or account-level responsibilities.

With multi-select dispatch groups, dispatchers can work with several groups at the same time rather than repeatedly switching between them. Within the scheduling Timeline, selecting multiple groups displays the engineers assigned to those groups together with their scheduled work.

The capability builds on Fieldcode’s existing dispatch-group structure. Organizations can continue to separate operations according to their existing structure while giving selected users broader visibility when required.

Fieldcode has also extended its user administration controls. Organizations can define which users a particular role may edit, separating operational visibility from administrative access.

“Service organizations often need broader visibility across regions or service units without giving every role the same level of administrative control,” said Matthias Lübko, CEO of Fieldcode. “These changes allow organizations to widen the operational view available to dispatchers while keeping administrative responsibilities aligned with how their service operations are structured.”

The new capabilities provide organizations managing distributed field service operations with more control over visibility and administrative access across multiple dispatch groups.
