By drawing on commentaries and word studies, this devotional enriches readers' comprehension of God's Word and then invites them to engage in their faith journey through inductive Bible study, transforming Scripture into a vibrant, living presence in daily life. As part of an expansive devotional series spanning the Pentateuch, Joshua, the Gospels, Acts, and Revelation, this volume specifically examines teachings from Jesus's disciples Mark and Luke—passages not covered in Matthew—to illuminate how believers can serve Christ and his kingdom with confidence.

After achieving success in banking and real estate appraisal, Gordon answered his calling to ministry, earning a Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Anglican Seminary. He served as a pastor in Pittsburgh before transitioning to campus ministry leadership at the University of Florida. In 2020, Gordon founded Focused Life Ministries, a nonprofit dedicated to offering life coaching and spiritual direction. His personal experiences as a husband, father, and grandfather, combined with his varied professional background, infuse his writing with authenticity and relatability.

"Our Servant and Savior" explores profound themes of discipleship, kingdom service, and spiritual transformation, offering readers the theological depth and practical wisdom they need to navigate their own journeys of faith.
