Nasty Nick Announces New Album “Artificial Intelligence,” Led by Single “Favorite”
Rapper Nasty Nick revisits years of unreleased material and unfinished ideas for a new project blending his history with AI-assisted production. “Artificial Intelligence” arrives November 7, 2026.

The project takes its name from the technology that helped make it possible. Rather than beginning entirely from scratch, Nasty Nick returned to years of unreleased songs, lyrics, concepts and unfinished records from his personal archive. Using AI-assisted production as part of the creative process, he was able to revisit material that had never received a proper release and reshape those ideas into a cohesive new project.
“Artificial Intelligence gave me a way to go back into the vault and bring ideas to life that I thought might never be heard,” says Nasty Nick. “The technology changed, but the perspective, writing and personality are still Nasty Nick. These are my ideas, my records and pieces of my story — I just found a new way to finish telling it.”
The album reflects both the evolution and continuity of Nasty Nick’s sound. Hip-hop remains at its core, while elements of R&B, club music, melodic production and the late-1990s and early-2000s influences that helped shape his musical identity appear throughout the project.
That combination is particularly evident on “Favorite,” the album’s lead single, scheduled for release on October 9. The upbeat hip-hop and R&B record pairs a catchy, melodic hook with Nasty Nick’s husky East Coast delivery, blending nostalgic influences with a contemporary 2026 sound. “Favorite” will serve as one of three singles supporting the Artificial Intelligence era.
The upcoming album follows an active year for Nasty Nick. In May, he released “Chess Not Checkers,” followed by “Tell Me” in September. He also recently expanded beyond his usual rap delivery with “Love Me Through (Nasty Nick Remix),” built around Coco Jones’ original recording. The remix showcased a more melodic side of the artist, incorporating singing, layered vocals and harmonies alongside his established vocal style.
While Artificial Intelligence represents a new approach to creating music, it also connects directly to Nasty Nick’s history as an independent artist.
