Recent Release, "Under the Terebinth Tree," from Covenant Books Author Jamie D. Arney, Invites Readers to Discover God's Presence in Everyday Moments

Franklin, KY, October 06, 2026 --(PR.com)-- Jamie D. Arney has completed a new book, "Under the Terebinth Tree: 40 Days of Pursuing God's Presence," which reimagines the biblical terebinth tree as a symbol of sacred encounters accessible to ordinary people in their daily lives. Drawing inspiration from Scripture, where Abraham, Gideon, and David experienced God beneath these ancient branches, Arney creates a devotional journey that transforms the familiar into the spiritual. Each of the forty entries weaves together Scripture with the texture of authentic living—family moments, classroom insights, frustrations that teach, and unexpected grace—inviting readers to recognize the divine in their own surroundings.

With thirty-five years of teaching high school English and French, raising four children, and serving extensively in youth and women's ministries, Jamie D. Arney brings a seasoned, relatable voice to spiritual formation. Her experience mentoring young people, conducting Bible studies, and speaking to women's groups informs every page with wisdom earned through real life rather than theory alone. She writes as someone who has listened for God through seasons of joy and struggle, offering her hard-won insights with both authenticity and gentle humor.

"Under the Terebinth Tree" explores the stirring themes of divine accessibility, spiritual attentiveness, and the sacred hidden within the mundane. Readers will discover practical tools for deepening their faith while learning to recognize God's voice in everyday conversations, family dynamics, teaching moments, and unexpected setbacks. This devotional stakes its claim on a transformative truth: that seekers need not travel far to encounter the extraordinary God; they need only learn to pay attention where they already stand.

"I wanted to create something that felt less like listening to a sermon and more like sitting with a trusted friend," said Arney. "My prayer is that readers will stop missing God in the mundane and start recognizing Him there: discovering their own terebinth tree, their own sacred meeting place with the God who is already present."

Published by Covenant Books, Jamie D. Arney's faith-filled work offers readers a refreshing approach to daily devotion that bridges Scripture and life. This devotional transforms spiritual discipline into intimate conversation and everyday awareness into divine encounter.
