Recent Release, "When the Kingdom," from Covenant Books Author Rusty Thomas, Challenges the Church to Reclaim Jesus's Original Gospel and Advance God's Kingdom

Palm Bay, FL, October 13, 2026 --(PR.com)-- Rusty Thomas has completed a new book, titled, "When the Kingdom," which presents a bold, biblically rooted argument that the Kingdom of God was inaugurated by Christ at His first coming and continues advancing through the Gospel today. In an era marked by rapture fever and end-times speculation, Thomas contends that the Church has lost sight of what Jesus actually preached: the Gospel of the Kingdom. This loss, he argues, has come with a profound cost to both faith and culture. Through careful biblical analysis, Thomas reveals the failed predictions of dispensationalism and recovers the covenantal eschatology embraced by the Reformers and America's founding generation.

Drawing on decades of ministry, cultural engagement, and frontline battles for life and justice, the author brings both spiritual depth and practical experience to his examination of Kingdom theology. Thomas served as a machine gunner with the 101st Airborne Division, later became a classically trained actor and traveling evangelist, and spent twenty years as Assistant Director of Operation Rescue/Operation Save America before becoming National Director. His extensive background in ministry, public speaking, and activism across more than four decades informs every page of this transformative work.

In "When the Kingdom," Thomas calls believers to stop waiting for rescue and start advancing God's Kingdom to rescue others. The book speaks directly to those who feel defeated by cultural forces, paralyzed by pessimism, or questioning whether their lives hold value for future generations. Thomas demonstrates that the King is reigning, His enemies are being made His footstool, and the critical question facing the Church is whether it will act on that belief. Readers will discover a resetting of perspective regarding end-times thinking and a rekindling of conviction about their role in God's present purposes.
"This book will challenge everything you thought you knew about the Kingdom of God and empower you to live as if the King is truly reigning," said Thomas.

Published by Covenant Books, Rusty Thomas's stirring work equips readers to move beyond passivity and despair. This book transforms how believers understand their calling in advancing God's eternal Kingdom through Gospel proclamation and cultural engagement.

Readers who wish to experience this enlightening work can purchase "When the Kingdom" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
