Austin, TX, October 13, 2026 --(PR.com)-- Nathan Felix, is set to release his new country ode to the Alamo city, Comin’ Home to San Antone, featuring Garrett T. Capps on fiddle on Wednesday October 28th on all digital platforms. Comin’ Home to San Antone is a city anthem filled with 2-steppin', bar hoppin', Lone Star & margarita drinkin’, fajita eatin' nights in the Alamo City. It was produced by Bill Baird, mixed by Lucas Oswald and is the flagship single off of Felix’s up and coming album, Texas Born Texas Bred.
Nathan Felix has plied his trade on both sides of the Atlantic, but he’s never been closer to his home state of Texas. The big skies and alpine mountains of West Texas have called to him, singing of romantic sunsets, lost loves, and Lone Star beers soaking up the resulting tears. His new song, Comin’ Home to San Antone, opens in ol’ San Antone, where Felix feels most at home. An easy walking bass sets the tone, while touches of boogie-woogie piano and sawing fiddle glisten over the loping beat. Lyrics reveal that every traveling romantic brings home along with him wherever he roams. Felix reached out to San Antonio's resident honky tonk wizard Garrett T. Capps to play the fiddle and brought his band, The Dirty Rotten Boys to track with Bill Baird at this studio, Medium Green.
In addition to the digital release, Felix will release a music video that pays homage to November Rain by Guns & Roses. The video was filmed in West Texas outside of Balmorhea at the Calera Chapel and in San Antonio at The Lonesome Rose, Splach and north San Antonio. It stars Haylee Grace, Nathan Felix, Brian Caron, Wesley Freeland, Charlotte Reed, Vivian Hartz and a multitude of San Antonio locals. Felix is mostly known for his immersive operas, country music, classical scores and experimental films. He has premiered 16 operas, 4 symphonies and various chamber works in Spain, Japan, Australia, Bulgaria, Portugal, China, Sweden, Denmark, Mongolia and the United States and has been featured on the BBC, MTV, NPR, TPR & PBS.
