The latest challenge asks photographers to capture a photograph of anything, as long as the main subject is silhouetted. A challenge winner will be chosen after a five-day voting period by PhotographyCorner.com members when the contest ends on Monday, August 11th, 2008. The site began offering Contest Corner Challenges in July 2004, and new challenges are issued approximately eighteen times per year. If the winner is a Premiere Member, they will receive a SmugMug Pro Account (1 year free subscription) or a $50 Gift Certificate towards prints at SmugMug.com. If the winner is not a Premiere Member, they will receive a SmugMug Power Account (1 year free subscription).
Photographers who join PhotographyCorner.com have the ability to enter one photograph for each of the Contest Corner Challenges. In an effort to make the contests fair for all members, only photographs taken during the time of the contest can be entered, and only minor post-production photo manipulation can be used.
