C&M Pizza of Leominster MA Filters the City Water to Make its Pizza
Leominster, MA, April 28, 2006 --(PR.com)-- “The water is a main ingredient in pizza dough and should not be overlooked” say’s Debbie Chesbrough of C&M Pizza. She never thought about it to much until she opened the mail and read about the quality of water in Leominster might be in question. Debbie is not sure about everyone’s water but she noticed it was not crystal clear and decided to add a filter.

Debbie believes that if you are going to use high quality ingredients so that your crust is always fluffy and has that taste that makes you want to finish the entire piece, you had better make sure your water is not cloudy and filled with junk. C &M PIZZA uses a 40 yr old recipe that calls for them to use some more expensive ingredients but they think their customers can taste the difference.

The recipe is a secret and only a few people know the exact ingredients and portions sizes in both our dough and sauce recipes. Water is also used to clean our vegetables and make out sauce and you might not think about it but is a big part of how your food is going to taste. In their sauce we use tomatoes grown in the California valley, fresh seasoning and they simmer it for a minimum of 6 hours. "We don’t just add sugar to our sauce!" say's Debbie.

C & M Pizza has been in downtown Leominster ma, for 40 years and Debbie Chesbrough has been making the pizza dough and sauce every morning at 6am since she was a teenager. We don’t have an 18 wheeler show up once a weak to drop off frozen dough made in another state or country. So since they monitor everything from the temperature we store our flour, it would only make sense to monitor your quality of water.
