The demonstration centre, housing an extensive range of printers, allows Printerland to assist customers in finding the most suitable product. Importantly, it offers an opportunity for Printerland staff to interact face to face with customers.
Carl Barron, demonstration centre manager of Printerland, says it is important for customers to see first hand a printer's capability. "A customer is generally interested in the print quality, the speed of print operations, and the noise the printer makes. By seeing the printer in action customers are reassured of the quality and are more confident in their purchase," he explains.
After visiting the demonstration centre, Printerland's 1000th customer Tony MacCormack, enthused, "The demonstration centre allowed a comparison between one printer and another. There was a plethora of choice and a vast range of quality printers on show.
"The room was extremely practical and I could see the machines working rather than just buying off the shelf or web. This is the sixth machine we have bought from Printerland and we wouldn't go anywhere else."
Meanwhile, high-end A3 printer sales have benefitted from the successful introduction of the demonstration centre. Since its opening last year sales of the A3 machines have increased by a factor of ten.
