It is no surprise that Al is considered to be one of the world’s best creative thinkers when it comes to marketing solutions as it relates to the Airline and Vacation Ownership industry. For more than 20 years Al has honed his skills in several roles including, Sales management, Marketing management, Project Director, and most recently Vice President of Sales & Marketing In-house Sales for Wyndham Vacation Ownership (Formerly Trendwest Resorts). In that role, Al designed created and implemented an enterprise In-house Sales & Marketing business model for Worldmark by Wyndham brand which since it’s inception in May 2005, net receipts have exceed $475M.
He was a 2006 American Resort Developers Association finalist for outstanding contribution, achievement and performance as a Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Al also achieved president’s club status (The Super Bowl of the Vacation Ownership Industry) in sales for a staggering multiple straight years in the following positions: Sales Executive, Project Director, Vice President of Sales & Marketing In-house (Only VP to make President’s club in 2007, 220% of Budget). He broke the all time company’s sales record in 2003 and went on to become the MVP in 2005 as the Wyndham Vacation Ownership Project Director of the Year.
Never one to sit on his accolades, Al constantly strives to enhance his skills with the best resources and coaches possible. In 2006 Al attended TheWharton School of Business Executive Education program where he successfully completed the CEO SERIES in Business Leadership. In 2008 Al attended The Wharton School of Business and successfully completed the Executive Education program on BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS THAT WORK under the Executive MBA Program. In 2008 he attended and successfully completed The BUSINESS NEGOTIATIONS Program, a University Consortium presented by Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Tufts University under the Executive MBA Program, at the Harvard Law School in Cambridge. In February of 2009, Al co-founded and created PTT Marketing a revolutionary vacation ownership marketing company that markets to Airline customer’s from all over the world, as they board and ride their shuttles to their respective hotels upon arrival into McCarran Airport in Las Vegas.
