He provides maximum output from the SAN and ensures that the TSQL code, the database design and layout are in proper confluence with hardware resources. Mr. Maganti also does SQL Server upgrades, Oracle to SQL Server migrations, TSQL performance tuning, overall application optimization, database design, creates standards, disaster recovery and high availability solutions. He is a Microsoft Certified Technologist Specialist and BrainBench certified in database design, administration, TSQL Programming and SAN. He was given the JPMorgan Chase Award, Winning With Teamwork and the Employee of the Year Award in 2011. Mr. Maganti co-authored the SQL Server Book, “Best of SQL Server Central”, volume 4, ISBN# 10:0975901583, ISBN-13: 978-0975901588. He has spoken at various events including the Microsoft Convention Yukon and the Microsoft at North Texas SQL Servers Users Group. He was born on August 6th in Rajampeta, Andhra Pradesh, India and obtained a M.Eng. in Solid State Electronics from Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee, India in 1998. Previously, he worked for Tata Consultancy Services from 1998 to 2001, Syntel from 2001 to 2003 and Capgemini Ernst & Young from 2003 to 2004. From 2004 to 2007 he worked at Microsoft, PRG Shultz, New Century Finance Corp., Barnes & Noble, JP Morgan Chase, MTV and Simon & Schuster. Mr. Maganti joined Open Systems Technologies from 2007 to 2009 and has been with Healthcare Payment Specialists since 2009. Among his career accomplishments, he is proud of the improvement of SQL processes executing in 30 days to an hour, two weeks to two hours, several hours to seconds and 90% CPU usage to below 10% at various clients. He moved up from being a trainee to being a Computer and Information Systems Manager. He married his wife Sreevidya on December 2, 1999 and they have one child, Jayaditya. In his spare time he enjoys tennis, composing music, swimming, field hockey, playing Wii and reading Robert Ludlum novels.
