iTech Workshop and Biz Technology Solutions Collaborate on Insurance Claims Processing Solution
iTech Workshop (iTech), a data integration company with special focus on healthcare, announces that it has partnered with Biz Technology Solutions (BizTechs) to deliver a custom Insurance Claims Processing (ICP) solution as part of its expEDIum Services offering.
Bangalore, India, March 04, 2006 --(PR.com)-- iTech Workshop (iTech), a data integration company with special focus on healthcare, announces that it has partnered with Biz Technology Solutions (BizTechs) to deliver a custom Insurance Claims Processing (ICP) solution as part of its expEDIum Services offering.
iTech's custom ICP solution uses an expEDIum X12N L1 & L2 Validating Engine with expEDIum HCFA and 837P Transformation Adapters internally.
The ICP application allows for the submission of HCFA Print Image files and 837P files from web based provider accounts. The engine automatically processes batch files into claims in conjunction with internal editing features and produces a resubmission of claims using HCFA-1500 look-alike forms. The expEDIum solution also performs some claim scrubbing functions and payer specific rule validation before the claim is delivered to another back-end database over a secure connection.
With an early beta of this solution being released this week, this system is expected to process 7000 claims per day, support 2000 provider users and over 10 manual operators editing claims. The application is extensible to support a variety of other electronic healthcare format files as well as insurance claims such UB-92 (Institutional), ADA (Dental) and any other standard or non-standard healthcare forms.
