When she is not reading or writing, she’s teaching English, Drama or Creative Writing in an inner city high school, writing book reviews or screenplay critiques, grading writing (a thing which can not possibly be done), editing both the school’s annual literary magazine and the neighborhood’s newsletter, and driving homeless Basenjis to new homes via the Basenji Underground Railroad (www.basenjirescue.org).
