The Boulder Emergency Squad has elected Andrew M. Amalfitano as the new President and Chief for a two-year term. Boulder Emergency provides volunteer search and rescue services for the past 47 years within and around Boulder County. Early in his volunteer rescue career, Amalfitano served in the same role from 1985-1995. - September 26, 2011
Boulder Emergency Squad Volunteers Help Firefighters and Residents of Fourmile Canyon Fire
The tragic wildland fire that ripped through Fourmile Canyon this week has taken peoples' homes and possessions. Some of those affected are the very firefighters who protected the community and saved many structures, but sadly lost their homes. Boulder Emergency Squad provided temporary housing for a few of those firefighters affected and continues to support the community relief effort with their volunteer rescuers. - September 14, 2010
Boulder Emergency Squad and Longmont Emergency Unit Team Up on Water Rescue at Kayak Competition
High, fast water is a welcome treat for kayak competitors, but can cause alarm for the safety of citizens watching near the banks of a dangerous creek. A combined team from the Boulder Emergency Squad and Longmont Emergency Unit provided certified swift water rescuers to standby in case someone fell in the creek while watching the national kayak competition in Lyons Colorado. - June 15, 2010
Colorado Dive Rescue Summer Training Series
The Dive Rescue Summer training series comes to Boulder Colorado, hosted and sponsored by Boulder Emergency Squad-B.E.S., an all volunteer, non-profit emergency response team serving Boulder County and surrounding areas. Certifications are offered for specialized classes and include basic and advanced dive rescue, dive medicine, light salvage and recovery, and instructor training. - June 03, 2010
Boulder Emergency Squad Rescues Wolf Rescued from Pipe
Teamwork credited with wolf rescue. On the side of a steep slope in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, rescuers worked to successfully free a wolf with its head trapped in a heavy steep pipe. Members of the Boulder Emergency Squad, Coal Creek Fire Department, Boulder County Parks and Open Space, and Boulder County Sheriff's Department Animal Control responded and rescued the wolf with the help of a local veterinarian. - January 29, 2010

Moschetti to the position of Corporate President and the role of Chief of Operations at their bi-annual elections held this week.
