New York, NY, August 16, 2008 --(
PR.com)-- Maija Digiorgio:
Her high voltage stage act quickly caught the attention of the Daily News and the New York Post warning audiences, "to catch Maija before television audiences do. " Maija made her national television debut on NBC’s Showtime at the Apollo where she received three standing ovations. In the following four months, she made appearances on Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam, NBC’s Friday Night, PBS’ Into the Mix, and performed at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado. She directed and starred in the documentary, Bitter Jester.
Mark Voyce:
Voyce, a frequent guest on 98Rock's Kirk, Mark and Lopez Morning Show and one of the pillars of Baltimore's modest stand-up scene is about six feet tall, smokes like a chimney, curses like a sailor and harbors enough pent up aggression to keep Freud busy for months. It also looks like monkeys fornicated in his hair. Of course, fornicated is a much kinder 'F' word than what Baltimore stand-up Mark Voyce uses to help excuse his disheveled appearance ("I assure you monkeys did not [fornicate] in my hair. They just had cocktails."). Voyce's commentary is head-on, no-helmet, harsh reality, creating belly laughs that make you feel better about every "yes sir" and "no ma'am" you had to dish out all week.
Tony Woods:
Tony Woods, an edFringe and all-round veteran, is a one-of-a-kind comic who's always in control of his audience. His playful and cool demeanor, combined with sharp and mischievous subject matter, create a show that is unmistakably entertaining at every level. Tony's television credits include Louie Anderson's Comedy Showcase, A&E's Caroline's Comedy Hour, Showtime At The Apollo Showtime's Full Frontal Comedy, NBC's Friday Night Videos, The Apollo Comedy Hour, Dutch TV Comedy Factory (5X), BET's Comic View (5X) and NBC's Late Friday. He’s appeared in the film The Brooklyn Project and his festival appearances include triumphs at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado and the Melbourne Comedy Festival.
