Outskirts Press Announces New Director of Author Support to Further Support Self-Published Authors After Publication

Denver, CO, September 20, 2008 --(PR.com)-- In an ongoing effort to be the only full-service self-publishing service provider that offers support and assistance to authors before, during, and after publication, Kelly Schuknecht has contracted with Outskirts Press as the Director of Published Author Support.

Under Kelly’s direction, the Author Support Department will continue to be the one-stop-shop for published Outskirts Press authors seeking all levels of promotional support. Current marketing services and opportunities run the gamut from ongoing marketing Coach assistance to optional exposure opportunities in worldwide book fairs (like BEA) and national magazines (like ForeWord).

In the coming months, Outskirts Press plans to launch several exciting new initiatives for published authors under Kelly’s lead, including:

- a partnership with Cevado Technologies to offer enhanced customizable author websites of multiple pages
- a partnership with Publisher’s Portal to offer Chapter Excerpts (think Amazon’s Search Inside) for Barnes & Noble and elsewhere
- direct book ordering functionality with Ingram to further increase the speed and accuracy of author book orders

Kelly Schuknecht has a degree in Modern Foreign Languages from James Madison University. In her capacity as the Director of Published Author Support for Outskirts Press, Kelly will continue to build upon the excellent marketing support and services currently offered to Outskirts Press’s 3,000-plus family of successfully published authors.
