Luxury Banqueting Venue Opens at The Landmark London Hotel

The Landmark’s Grand Ballroom is an ideal venue for formal dinners and weddings, charity events and exceptional receptions. Superb service, stunning table settings and Chef Klaner’s impressive cuisine combine seamlessly to assure every event is distinctive and memorable.

London, United Kingdom, October 02, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The magnificent five-star luxury Landmark London Hotel has dramatically increased the capacity of its banqueting facilities with the opening of the Grand Ballroom.

Created by redeveloping two former banqueting rooms into one space, the Grand Ballroom provides an extensive rectangular area catering for a maximum of 750 guests for a cocktail reception and up to 500 guests for a dinner. In the redesigned Grand Ballroom, the hotel retains its elegant Victorian style, including an ornate sculptured ceiling, original chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows, ensuring it is flooded with natural light.

The Landmark’s Grand Ballroom is an ideal venue for formal dinners and weddings, charity events and exceptional receptions. Superb service, stunning table settings and Chef Klaner’s impressive cuisine combine seamlessly to assure every event is distinctive and memorable.

The Landmark London Hotel has established a reputation for offering outstanding conference facilities for the most discerning of clients.

For guests who wish to divide this large space, an acoustic, sound-proof wall can be drawn across the centre of the room to create two smaller banqueting rooms, namely the Grand Ballrooms I and II. The dividing wall has a door which allows the rooms to be interconnecting if desired. In this format, the Grand Ballroom I and Grand Ballroom II will each cater for receptions of a maximum of 350 guests.

When the Grand Ballroom is fully open for a dinner, pre-dinner receptions can be held in the Drawing Room, Ballroom, or on The Gazebo on the mezzanine floor of The Landmark’s central atrium.

The hotel’s banqueting rooms are individually designed, offering variety in both size and architecture. Most feature natural daylight and high ceilings, while many original features of the building have been retained to enhance the ambience.

Gary Klaner, the Executive Chef at The Landmark London and winner of Banqueting Chef of the Year, is always delighted to discuss individual menus with guests, including those with special dietary requirements. So whether guests wish to hold a canapé reception or a sumptuous gourmet banquet, The Landmark will be able to cater for their every desire.
