About the Book (Excerpts & Info)
How simple life is as a child. There is good, bad, and the road to happiness. Just like the characters in The Wizard of Oz we know who will hurt us and who is our friend. Then we grow up. Here we find that the world around us as well as deep within can be heartless, stupid, cowardly, and even a true witch at times. I wrote this so you wouldn’t feel so alone when these feelings arise within you. I wrote this so I too would not feel this isolation that comes only from a self-discovery born so intensely within our hearts.
I have battled the witch in me every day since I was a child. I wish some one could have told me long ago she was never there for me to fight.
Deftly constructed at 221 pages, Battling the Witch is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the Body, Mind & Spirit category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, Battling the Witch meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $14.95.
Additionally, Battling the Witch can be ordered by retailers or wholesalers for the maximum trade discount price set by the author in quantities of ten or more from the Outskirts Press wholesale online bookstore at www.outskirtspress.com/buybooks

About the Author
Storm Kai lives in southern California. In her search to find peace she has studied Reiki, reflexology, acupressure, visual techniques, verbal affirmations, Tai Chi, meditation, quantum physics, and many other alternative methods. After promptly forgetting most of this in her teens and twenties she found she had created an emotional abyss. She started writing down her thoughts as a way of finding answers for herself and her friends when dealing with their emotional trauma. It took a decade to recover and start living the life of her dreams. She attributes her success to the writings in this book assisting in adding “calm” to her life whenever it is possible. Her story, which is the last chapter, was published in the Hedra News. She now hopes this book, Battling the Witch, is an offering to all those who have felt just as lost.
