New Home Buyers Line Up Overnight for Centrepointe West Preview Opening

Over one hundred and forty purchasers bought the home of their dreams at Centre Point West in Mississauga, a joint venture development between Paradise Homes and Arista Homes.

Mississauga, Canada, November 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- While the uncertain state of the economy has generated some doom and gloom, there are others who aren’t about to let it dampen the joy and excitement of buying a new home.

Over 140 purchasers bought the home of their dreams at Centre Point West in Mississauga, a joint venture development between Paradise Homes and Arista Homes.

Over 2,000 people registered on the community web site for the Preview Opening, with close to half of that number showing up this past weekend. In fact, a dozen prospective purchasers and their families braved the cool fall temperatures and lined up overnight so they could be the first in the sales office on Saturday morning.

The 140 sales will be joined by many more later this week, when those who showed up on the weekend but who hadn’t registered (close to 1,000 people) are invited back to the official Grand Opening.

The 32’ singles offered by Arista and the 40’ singles from Paradise are both fully sold out. But the vast majority of homes in the community are semi’s with many on extra deep lots, with a wide variety of models still available from which to choose and priced from the $350’s.

The community’s success can be attributed to many reasons says Paradise Homes principal Ron Baruch. “Of course, both Paradise and Arista are known for their quality design and craftsmanship which are showcased here in an exceptional location. The new bridge spanning the 403 on Confederation Parkway means that residents will actually be able to walk to the Square One shopping centre.”

“We’ve also got to give credit to our creative team at G. Ryan Design whose website design and online outreach strategies helped generate the huge turnout.”

Domenic Bauco, Vice President, Corporate Affairs of Arista Homes, observed how the project had a very broad appeal in the marketplace. “Buyers at the project were from a broad range of ethnic backgrounds, and ranged from first-time buyers to those who were seeking to downsize after living in the area for the past 20 years.”

A reception tent was set up where the prospects were treated to coffee and donuts while they waited for the Sales Office doors to open.

Between this project and another builder’s recent successful launch in the area, over $80 million in real estate sales have been made in the past few weeks – an indication that the GTA’s real estate market is still vibrant and healthy.

Prospective purchasers can register on-line at www.centrepointwest.com or visit the Sales Office on Confederation Parkway, just south of Eglinton, in Mississauga. The Grand Opening begins this Saturday, November 8, at 11 am.
