Monroe Moody Comes Under Go Large Records Management

In addition to all of his projects with Go Large Records, in 2006 when Monroe tried out for the American Idol, he also got the opportunity to sing Live on KDWB FM 101.3 in Minneapolis Minnesota and landed in the top sixty (out of over 12,000 contestants) for a chance to go to Hollywood. New York, NY, November 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Monroe Moody started off his singing career as a choir boy in the Harlem Mass Choir and now he flaunts his talents between singing back up vocals all over NYC for major artists to performing on “American Idol” and performing in various Off-Broadway productions.

Monroe Moody is a very talented vocalist with a unique, pure, and powerful sound. He is versatile in both style and sound. He can sing everything from moving Gospel to Contemporary, R&B, Pop music, and even Broadway tunes. With such a diversified background, Monroe Moody is a sought after artist and performer all around New York City.

“I have been featured on the PAX television channel when I competed in the USA World Showcase at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada and appeared on Best Week Ever on VH1,” Monroe Moody said from his home in Brooklyn. “I have another off Broadway project in the works at this time where I sing and act.”

In his short 25 years, Monroe Moody has already held the lead role in an off Broadway production called "Beware: Bernadette!" A Musical Fable which he played one of the lead characters as "Hewitt Jones". He has also performed in various other off Broadway productions including: “Richmond: A Musical Fantasia” in which he played a supporting character as “Keme”.

Monroe Moody’s current project is a Hip-Hop off-broadway musical production called “PointLess”, where he will perform as a singer and actor. “PointLess” will be televised on a cable network for all 5 boroughs of New York City.
