Mamaroneck, NY, November 22, 2008 --(PR.com)-- On Thursday, November 6, 2008, The Dorf Law Firm, LLP represented American Skating Entertainment Centers (ASEC) in a multi-million dollar real estate transaction. The complex closing involved the refinancing of the Westchester Skating Academy (WSA) which was founded in 1996 and is located at 91 Fairview Park Drive in Elmsford, NY; the purchase of three ice skating operations in Raleigh, North Carolina; and the acquisition of Polar Ice Ventures, LLC, the leading ice rink management company in the US.

Members of the Dorf Law Firm, LLP handling the closing included Jon A. Dorf, Esq., founder and managing partner, Laura Alcott, Esq., an associate at the firm, and paralegal, Tina LeBrun. Additionally, Gary Worobow, in-house counsel, played a substantial role in bringing the transaction to a successful conclusion.

Westchester Skating Academy of Elmsford is the only NHL, twin-rink-facility in Westchester, NY, with a staff that includes national, international, and Olympic professionals. With areas designated for parties and events, it will serve as the skating/entertainment center model for the new North Carolina facilities.
