The 6.14 x 9.21 paperback in the Fiction category is available worldwide on book retailer websites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble for a suggested retail price of $32.95. About the Book (Excerpts & Info)

“Jim” is a spin off of Teenage Medic, my first book. It deals with an individual who was a marijuana and alcoholic addict from the age of six until his 17th birthday. His family was so busy with their business they did not know what was going on. Impossible? No, not this day and time. When he decided to be rehabilitated, his family rallied around him and the family became one of the closest-knit families anyone could hope for.

“Jim” became a doctor like his father and his wife and sister were RN’s.

He became very interested in a church program he organized to help those who were like him and had the desire to be rehabilitated. He never forgot to give God credit for his good luck of overcoming his addiction. The outcome is unique and interesting with God getting the credit along with a short time friend in a foreign country and family love.

Lovelace's last published book was Teenage Medic. This book “Jim” is a carry over from Teenage Medic. It is a family orientated book and is a perfect guide for anyone in modern times who desires to be rehabilitated from drug and alcohol addiction or in reunification of families. It gives a good example of success if the user wants to change as well as coalesce a family.

The author is a family orientated individual as is his wife, Betty, and their three children, Tommy, Nancy and Allan. He also has two grandchildren, Jennifer and Michael and two great grand children, Christian and Madison. His children all operated Nursing homes except Tommy who chose being an Engineer as his career. The author's life is family and depicts that in his books.

The novel "Jim" stresses "family" and gives a picture of a family being dysfunctional before becoming so closely knitted that it was difficult to let outsiders such as friends and visitors get close to them. Estrangement from grandparents finally concluded with their death and made their heirs more closely knitted as a family. Jim's entire family except his mother was affiliated with and worked as doctors and nurses in the medical profession. The family in the novel "Jim" is a wonderful example of "family love and caring for each member."

Deftly constructed at 631 pages, “Jim” is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the Fiction category. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, “Jim” meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $32.95.

Additionally, “Jim” can be ordered by retailers or wholesalers for the maximum trade discount price set by the author in quantities of ten or more from the Outskirts Press wholesale online bookstore at www.outskirtspress.com/buybooks
