Jakarta, Indonesia, February 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- In late January 2009, Stanislav Velinov through his Opus Supremus Group (Opus) has entered into a commitment to act as an Advisor in connection with a USD 1 Billion distressed debt portfolio. The portfolio consists of United States Corporate Debt and European issued Structured Notes. The scope of Opus’ engagement includes advising and managing a mechanism, to enhance the credit quality of the assets in the portfolio, by exploring a number of possibilities on the corporate finance front, including but not limited to restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, etc.

Given the current market conditions, Stanislav Velinov is reviewing the possibility of establishing a distressed asset fund, that would successfully consolidate the said portfolio and all other opportunities derived from Opus’ advisory business.

As recently announced in the media, Opus has also been concentrating on building a portfolio of Lehman Brothers debt, as well as strengthening its financial advisory arm, which has resulted in opportunities to facilitate ultra high tier Mergers and Acquisitions.

Opus Supremus is a private group of companies headed by Stanislav Velinov
