New Author to Release Second Book

Inspired by Orson Scott Card and Paul Newman, David G. Hennessey, a new author of children fantasy books, has released his second book for the general public.

Temecula, CA, March 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Children’s fantasy author David G. Hennessey has astounded the literary world by writing his first two children’s fantasy books here in our beautiful valley, which he has published on Lulu.com, the online marketplace for digital content. Influenced by meeting Orson Scott Card and Paul Newman many years ago, Mr. Hennessey decided to write children fantasy books that inspired and were adventurous. He also has published them on his personal website, petersprinciples.com where he promotes good reading for children, teens and adults. They can also be found at Barnes and Noble.com as well as Amazon.com.

In addition to his literary works, Mr. Hennessey has applied through the David M. Kennedy International Institute to teach English at a university in mainland China for nothing more than a small stipend. In-order to do this he is looking to raise money through books sales and donations to offset his present bills. Donations of $5.00 or more can be sent to 33461 Victoria Court, Temecula, CA 92592.

Mr. Hennessey seized the opportunity to use his idle time to do something positive for kids by writing some fun and fanciful books that every age group will enjoy. The first one, The Adventures Through Time: Captain Flynn, Jake and the World of Wizards is the story about a young boy in New York City who falls down a hole and finds himself on a pirate ship. After gaining the trust of the captain and crew, Jimmy is given a map that only he can work. Where ever on the map he touches, he is transported into that world. The World of Wizards is he first in a series of adventures for Jimmy, Captain Flynn, Jake the talking parrot and a host of other companions.

Mr. Hennessey’s second book is called A Cricket’s Christmas: The Bethlehem Story. Chirp, a youthful cricket living in the manger at the time of Christ, is anxious to know what gifts he has to offer the world. Unbeknownst to him and his companions, their story and many adventures are about to unfold in a most miraculous way. They will live through one of the most spectacular of events and times, the period prior to and during the birth of Jesus Christ. His story, then, is the story of those events, of what could have occurred had crickets and other animals been given the chance to communicate and change their lives. Mr. Hennessey has created the Charlotte’s Web of Christmas stories.

Walt Disney said “Animation can explain whatever the mind of man can conceive. This facility makes it the most versatile and explicit means of communication yet devised for quick mass appreciation.” Mr. Hennessey’s books fall right in line with this thought.

Each book that Mr. Hennessey has done has delighted the mind and captured the spirit of child-like adventure. Parents and children can both be delighted by the wonderful stories and feel of the spirit that uplifts and promotes goodness.

Both books can be found online at http://www.lulu.com/mybooks http://www.petersprinciples.com, Amazon.com, and BarnesandNoble.com.
