International Insurance Company Relies on WinRAR for 10,000 Users
International acting Insurance Company switched to WinRAR for 10,000 users. WinRAR was convincing in a direct comparison to the competition: best compression rates, optimum handling of large quantities of data and multi-format support as well as a convenient licensing model.
Berlin, Germany, May 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- An insurance company with around 170,000 employees in 55 countries worldwide has purchased 10,000 WinRAR licenses for their base in Germany. In most cases, it provides a much better compression rate than ZIP, in particular through powerful archiving which views the numerous small, similar files as a single data stream and archives it as such. Fewer redundancies mean a higher compression rate.
