Moyra Launches Birthday Performance
Go Large Records announced today that Moyra is giving a Birthday performance at ‘SODO Showbox’ in the Lounge before heading out to perform at ‘The Whiskey A Go Go’ for Women in Rock Night.
Seattle, WA, April 07, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Moyra has been invited to Play The Showbox/SODO on May 8, 2009 at 8:00 pm in honor of their bass player’s birthday. The Showbox is one of the larger more respected venues in Seattle and Moyra is no newcomer to the scene.
Following their birthday bash for local fans, Moyra will hit the road and head to Sunset Strip where they have been invited to play at The Whisky A Go Go on July 11th for the famous ‘Women in Rock” night.
“We host Women in Rock night only 4 xs per year and we want Moyra to get a shot at a record deal,” manager of booking at the Whisky A Go Go said. “Capital records will be in the crowd, along with 3 other A&R’s to give out a record deal.”
In addition to potential record label interest, journalists from Muen Magazine will be on hand to review and interview Moyra for a centerfold spread. Following their performance, Moyra will head to Rhino Room TV in Pomona for an ‘on air’ interview and 2 song set.
“Music is the one thing that brings us together,” Moyra stated. “The one thing that we are truly best at! We can enter the band room together, laugh and enjoy ourselves and still have produced something by the end of our meeting. Music is our passion, our hobby, the air we breathe, and the one job we can do without having the feeling that you don't want to go to work today, and want to progress and earn a living at.”
Moyra is comprised of four talented musicians that live to play music. Ehme, Dominic, Jason and Jessy are available for private parties, local venues and community events in the Seattle area.
