Europcar Adds Catalan and Estonian to Online Reservation Service
Paris, France, August 01, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Europcar, the leading European car rental company, continued this week in its strategy to make reserving a car as simple as possible, with the opening of online reservation services in both Catalan and Estonian languages.

Europcar’s continued focus on integration and harmonisation of reservation channels has already paid dividends, a fact noted by C.O.O., Rafael Girona, who commented that delivering customised solutions to meet local market conditions is the key to success online, Europcar is actively pursuing this belief and continually striving to improve services to car rental customers.

Jehan de Thé, Global Director of e-Commerce, expanded further stating “e-commerce is one of the strategic priorities of Europcar. With more than 20% of existing reservations made online, Europcar’s strategy is already endorsed by customers and travel partners alike. Reserving a car in the Catalan and Estonia languages is now available for the first time with a global car rental company.”

Continual growth in Europcar’s online business owes much to an integrated channel strategy – Europcar offers it’s best available rates independently of the booking channel – increasing the number of online reservation languages available (now 13 languages) is a natural extension and complements previous developments.

Europcar is continually enhancing its state of the art reservation systems; web-sites and reservations functionalities, to provide the consummate online car rental experience.
