Great Rail Journeys Targets Web Bookings

The brand new website has been designed to make browsing the company’s holidays easier. Customers can now search over 130 individual escorted rail tours worldwide by the destination or a theme such as: Christmas Markets, Single Travellers or Special Interest Holidays.

Paperless brochures can be downloaded from the site, as part of Great Rail Journey’s ongoing policy of reducing the use of the world’s natural resources. The launch of the improved website will be the cornerstone of the organisation’s strategy for growth.

Fortune Cookie supplied the design for the new website, which was built and integrated into the in-house Tr@veller reservation system by Web Applications Ltd. The copywriting and optimisation of the site was carried out by Active Solutions, who streamlined the website before its launch and will support the ongoing web marketing strategy.
