Chicago, IL, May 13, 2009 --(PR.com
)-- As part of its continuing advocacy for consensus, integrity and rationalization when serving the needs of its 2200+ members, the Global Revenue Assurance Professional Association (GRAPA) is expanding its online community efforts with the launch of a new front page at www.grapatel.com, as well as dynamic listings of blog posts by its regional and national chairpersons.
“GRAPA has always been committed to having a global reach, which means that our national and regional chairs have always been central, not just to how the organization is run, but how we approach development and ratification of international standards in revenue assurance,” said Rob Mattison, President of GRAPA.
Not only will the collection and aggregation of these blogs provide a common venue for rigorous discussion between experts in revenue assurance spread across the world, it will be a means for ordinary GRAPA members to react to the regular and frequent postings of thought leaders. “This commitment to openness and discussion has always been a watchword for an association that has no ties to vendors or any other commercial sponsorship. In order to keep the faith of our members, we have to conduct our affairs in the open as well as allow all comers to question and re-examine the work we’ve already done,” Mattison added.
“Because revenue assurance is such a new discipline, and because it seems to change as fast and as often as the technologies it assures (3G, WiMAX, etc.), we can’t just follow the crowd when it comes to addressing revenue assurance issues, we have to be leaders and continually generate, host and catalyze new and better revenue assurance standards, content and discussion,” said Mike Sullivan, GRAPA’s Community Director.
GRAPA’s new front page, which features news feeds from various sources, including its own GRAPA blog, as well as the blogs of its chairpersons, can be found at www.grapatel.com.
A list of the latest postings on blogs owned and updated by GRAPA’s regional and national chairs from around the world—including the US, Gabon, Canada, South Africa, Ghana, India and Cote D’Ivoire—can be found at www.grapatel.com/A-GRAPA/03-Our_Community/Blogs/main.asp
