Myrtle Beach Golfer’s Guide Features Pine Lakes Country Club

The most recent edition of Myrtle Beach Golfer's Guide highlights the sweeping restoration project and subsequent reopening of the Grand Strand's original golf course, Pine Lakes Country Club.

Hilton Head Island, SC, June 11, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The recently released summer issue of Myrtle Beach Golfer’s Guide delves into the depths of the recent restoration of the Grand Strand’s first-ever golf course, historic Pine Lakes Country Club.

“The new Pine Lakes Country Club reminds long-time Myrtle Beach regulars just how brilliant Robert White’s initial course concept was and moves the “Granddaddy” into a new era so that it can remain relevant in the super competitive Myrtle Beach golf scene,” writes Online Editor Brandon Underwood.

Pine Lakes, which reopened to the public March 14, is pictured on the cover of the current Myrtle Beach Golfer’s Guide, available at a dozens of participating locations throughout the Grand Strand. The publication is celebrating 20 years in Myrtle Beach this year.

Also featured in the second issue of 2009 is the Litchfield/Pawleys Island area, the recently established Myrtle Beach Golf Hall of Fame and the upcoming Carolina Couples Classic.
