Congregation Shirat Shalom is now offering High Holiday tickets for Erev Rosh HaShanah which begins on Friday, September 18th at 7:30pm. The location of Congregation Shirat Shalom is near I-90 and Route 59 in Elgin, IL.

Elgin, IL, August 27, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Return to your Roots: Conservative Judaism for the High Holidays 5770 – September 18, 2009.

Congregation Shirat Shalom is now offering High Holiday tickets for Erev Rosh HaShanah which begins on Friday, September 18th at 7:30pm. The location of Congregation Shirat Shalom is near I-90 and Route 59 in Elgin, IL.

Rabbi Ora Schnitzer, will lead High Holiday services. Rosh Hashanah services are on Saturday, September 19th at 9:00am and on Sunday, September 20th at 9:00am.

Their Kol Nidre service will begin on Sunday, September 27th at 6:00pm sharp. Yom Kippur services will begin in the morning on Monday, September 28th at 9:00am.

High Holiday ticket purchases can also be applied toward membership. For this year, ticket prices are: Single $100, Couple $150, and Family $200.

Friendly, participatory Shabbat services are led by Rabbi Schnitzer the first and third Saturdays of each month at 9:45am, and are followed by a community Kiddush. The other Saturday services are led by lay leaders of the congregation. Services include a spirited Torah discussion, focusing on the Torah “parsha of the week.”
