The Hob Knob, an eco boutique hotel on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, announces the appointment of Mark Venette as General Manager. Mark started at the Hob Knob in the Spring of 2009, coming to the hotel with over twenty-five years of hotel and food and beverage experience. Mark started in the hospitality business at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown and has spent time on and off the island during the years since. His career has taken him to Boston, West Palm Beach and Miami Beach where he worked for Chis Blackwell’s Island Outpost collection, representing Strawberry Hill and Jakes hotels in Jamaica. Mark graduated with a degree in Hospitality from Paul Smith’s College in New York.
