Have a Frighteningly Fun Halloween at PortAventura

For those who are brave enough to mingle with the living dead, be photographed with monsters, dance with devils, and sleep in the company of zombies and ghosts, PortAventura is the right place to be.

London, United Kingdom, October 03, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Halloween at PortAventura

From 26th September to 22nd November, PortAventura is celebrating the bone-chilling holiday Ever. Legions of living dead, sinister creatures, the Corpse Bride and her Head Cutter, gruesome zombies and a host of ghosts will inspire moments of true panic and dread.

At Halloween PortAventura, fear takes over each nook and cranny of the resort and an endless array of blood-curdling shows draw thousands of visitors year after year.

A plucky and intrepid public of all ages will be able to enjoy rides such as Horror en Penitence, a journey through a haunted passageway in the purest Far West tradition led by a genuine zombie: the sheriff of Penitence.

Besides, the scary Hotel Burn will be as well located in the Far West area, very close to the cemetery of the brand new Hotel Gold River which was inaugurated last month, in July, helping to create a setting terrifying for the guest.

Also in the Far West, visitors can enjoy the show Los No Muertos de Penitence, an assortment of raucous, bone-crunching country songs that will spark dancing and laughter and literally wake the dead.

In Polynesia, stout-hearted visitors can enter La Selva del Miedo for a mysterious outdoor stroll through the pitch black in the company of ghouls and goblins.

Shadowy creatures will also be lurking in México, where visitors can shudder to shows like El diablo dijo sí, El Saloon de la Medianoche, La hora gore and Vamp Frenzee, all of which are set to the sombre tunes of the Penitence Horror Band.

Youngsters can partake in the monstrous fun, too, with La leyenda de Jack el Linterna, a spookily entertaining puppet show in Mediterranean that tells the story of Halloween.

La Parada de los monstruos, an endless procession of fearsome characters like Dracula, the Mummy, Frankenstein and the Addams Family, and Terror en el Lago, a sinister multimedia extravaganza, will cap off the phantasmagorical day.

Finally, after a day of thrills and chills, the nightmare continues at PortAventura’s different hotels, where both the décor and the characters embody the season’s otherworldly atmosphere. Guests will be able to take it all in over a variety of festively eerie dishes at the resort’s restaurants.
