Le Meridien Phuket Appoints Robert Wittebrood as Assistant Food + Beverage Manager

Multi-award-winning Resort in Phuket, Thailand appoints 29 year-old, Dutch national, Robert Wittebrood as Assistant Food + Beverage Manager.

Phuket, Thailand, October 14, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort General Manager Rudolf Borgesius is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Wittebrood as Assistant Food + Beverage Manager.

Reporting to the Resort’s Director of Food and Beverage, Julian Lowry, Robert will assist in the administrative and management functions of Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort’s extensive food and beverage portfolio including ten restaurants and bars and banquet services offered at this world-class, multi-award-winning property.

A Dutch national, 29 year-old Robert was most recently Food + Beverage Services Manager at Le Meridien Bangkok and was part of the hotel’s opening team.

Prior to that, he worked in various management positions in Thailand and the Middle East with several international hospitality brands including Hyatt and JW Marriott.

Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort is situated on 40 acres of lush tropical greenery and features a secluded 500-metre pristine beach, two oversized swimming pools, 10 restaurants and bars, over 1,310 square metres of floor space for indoor and outdoor events of up to 980 persons and a complete range of water sports and recreational facilities.
