Glendorgal Hotel’s Website Demonstrating Excellence in Best Industry Application Nominated for 2006 WSI Web Awards

Glendorgal’s new website demonstrates best practices in awards category.

Falmouth, United Kingdom, October 06, 2006 --(PR.com)-- WSI (We Simplify the Internet) has recognised the Glendorgal website (www.glendorgal.co.uk) with a nomination for the 2006 WSI Web Awards in the category of Best Industry Application in the Hospitality & Tourism category. The site showcases the efforts of client Rachael Pountney and her team from the Glendorgal Hotel to create a website which focuses on excellent presentation and a strong call for action.

Rachael and her Personal Assistant Amy Rumble worked with WSI Consultant Frederick Habbe with the intentions of increasing the hotel’s exposure on the Web and considerably increasing online enquiries. The Glendorgal Hotel is a premier resort on Cornwall’s north coast near Newquay.

Amy Rumble said, “WSI Better Websites have been so beneficial to our business that we felt we must personally thank all involved who have helped to make our new website such a success! Not only was the service provided consistently friendly and professional but we were really made to feel important, so thank you. Our specific requirements, as confusing as they sometimes may have seemed were accommodated on every occasion.” Rumble suggested to other business that “if like us you know what website you would like and have a vision but cannot see how or where to even start, WSI Better Websites really can make it a reality."

By working with a WSI Consultant, the Glendorgal Hotel was able to benefit from WSI’s Internet Marketing focus, knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation, and website traffic generation. The objective of increasing online presence, online enquiries and online bookings was handsomely achieved.

Being nominated in the Best Industry category in the 2006 WSI Web Awards is a great accomplishment for the Glendorgal Hotel. This nomination will help increase the visibility of the website and, in turn, the business, resulting from promotion of the awards and the nominated sites by WSI through their global network of over 1500 Consultants in 87 countries worldwide.

WSI introduced the first annual WSI Web Awards to showcase the best of the thousands of Internet solutions created each year by WSI Consultants using the customised services and products of the WSI e-Marketplace Production Centers and Authorized Suppliers. WSI had thousands of submissions of sites to be considered for the 2006 WSI Web Awards. Each site was scored and ranked by a global team of experienced Consultant site auditors, and sites with a score of 90 out of 100 or over in their category were evaluated and were then short listed, resulting in 48 sites nominated as WSI Web Awards finalists. Sites were then voted on by the global community of 1500 plus WSI Consultants to determine the winners.

WSI’s internationally recognised Internet Consultants assess clients’ business needs and opportunities by using the patent pending Lifecycle™ System, an Internet solutions delivery framework. The first step is the Internet Business Analysis (IBA) process, during which Frederick Habbe will ask direct questions to identify clients’ competitive advantage, target markets, online/offline marketing initiatives and objectives of an Internet presence. The client’s Internet Solution is then customised - using services such as consultation, design, development, hosting, optimisation, site registration and Internet marketing support - to both reduce business overhead and increase profit. A WSI solution is designed to draw qualified traffic to a website leading to more customer conversions online.
