Toronto, Canada, December 25, 2009 --(PR.com
)-- In a move designed to provide its Africa-bound passengers with greater trip certainty and flexibility, Gap Adventures is now guaranteeing departures for its entire catalogue of Africa Overland trips including its World Cup departures (www.gapadventures.com/overland) until June 30, 2010. The new policy allows passengers to find and book flights at the best possible rates rather than waiting for their trip to be guaranteed before securing the air component. The move reflects Gap Adventures’ ongoing commitment to leading with service in the travel industry and providing life-changing experiences to its passengers.
“These guaranteed departures provide agents and passengers with greater peace of mind, knowing that once booked, their overland adventure is locked in,” Gap Adventures Founder Bruce Poon Tip said of the new service commitment. “We’ve taken the unprecedented step of guaranteeing these overland departures in response to feedback from our travellers and valuable agency partners.”
The only Africa itinerary excluded from the new guarantee policy is the Kenya and Tanzania Overland trip, which is a standalone journey and not part of the greater Overland program.
Gap Adventures’ Africa Overland tour network offers more than 40 itinerary options in nine countries. With more than 20 new options added for 2010, Gap Adventures can whisk travellers to the most magical corners of the continent from small villages in remote Malawi and isolated beaches on the spice island of Zanzibar, to adventure thrill spots like Victoria Falls and Jinja. No matter their age or interests, Gap Adventures has an Africa Overland trip to suit the needs of every thrill-seeker.
