Show Low, AZ, December 31, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Torreon Golf Community in Show Low, AZ introduces a new cross-country skiing trail for members and guests. Torreon is unique in that guests at the rental Villas and Lodges are accorded full member privileges, including access to the new cross-country trail, fitness facilities, and casual clubhouse dining.

Torreon is a 1400-acre master-planned community at the hub of Arizona’s White Mountains. Heavier than average snowfall have improved winter sports opportunities across the area, creating the perfect place for desert-dwellers from Phoenix and Tucson to share the fun. Skiing and snow-boarding are available at nearby Sunrise Park, which has three mountains, 10 lifts and more than 60 trails. Classes are available for beginning and intermediate skiers of all ages. The White Mountains area is a scenic three hour drive from Phoenix or Tucson, and winter roads are dry and well maintained.
