GRAPA Certifies 30 Internal Auditors in Revenue Assurance from Protiviti’s Member Firm for the Middle East Region

Chicago, IL, February 04, 2010 --(PR.com)-- In an expression of the increasing partnership between Revenue Assurance and Internal Audit, Global Revenue Assurance Professional Association (GRAPA) recently certified thirty Internal Audit Professionals at a Revenue Assurance training event held in Kuwait. All of these internal audit professionals successfully certified in Revenue Assurance, and many chose to take advantage of special training and testing in Internal Audit and Fraud Management as well.

The onsite RA event held at Kuwait was sponsored by Protiviti’s Member Firm for the Middle East Region, an Internal Audit service provider to telecommunications companies in the Middle East and Africa.

This training event demonstrated the recent trend that Revenue Assurance and Internal Audit go hand-in-hand in securing telcos’ revenues. As, Rob Mattison, president of GRAPA said, “Internal Audit and Revenue Assurance are key partners in ensuring that the telcos’ revenues are not at risk. It’s important to realize this and get the training required for Internal Auditors so they too can understand network operations, revenue assurance and other operational issues that may come up.”

GRAPA has certifications available in Revenue Assurance, as well as RA Internal Audit, which many of the Protiviti member firm employees took advantage of.
