Grimes Employee Named Transportation Person of the Year

Jacksonville, FL, February 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Lynne Cox of The Grimes Companies has been named Transportation Person of the Year 2009 by the Transportation Club of Jacksonville. Cox, Safety Supervisor for Grimes, was honored for her commitment as a Board Member of the Transportation Club of Jacksonville (TCOJ) and her willingness to take action when needed in all areas of TCOJ efforts including membership, tournaments, banquets and meetings.

As a member of the TCOJ Board, Cox represented the Industrial Group portion of the club. The award is given annually, the winner being selected by the President and 1st Vice President. The TCOJ membership represents area transportation companies and their vendors.

Cox will serve as 1st Vice President in 2010.
