Girlfriends Getaway Created for High-End Wining

Nashville, TN, March 12, 2010 --( Wine entertainers the Saucy Sisters will headline a weekend getaway for girls to Napa Valley September 24 – 27, 2010. The trip will feature wine tastings with winemakers, cooking with a celebrity chef, sipping bubbly at a chateau, dinner under the stars and even some stomping of grapes. Not enough stomping to ruin a perfectly good pedicure. Just enough to burn a few calories.

Saucy Sisters Barbara Nowak and Beverly Wichman created the trip in response to requests from women in their audiences at corporate events. According to Wichman, “These women were telling us that they wanted to spend more time with their girlfriends, sisters and mothers but rarely set aside time for that special bonding. And, oh yes, they preferred doing it while sharing some good wine.”

Napa Valley wineries that the group will visit include Ceja Vineyards, Domaine Carneros, Peju Province Winery, Far Niente Winery, Tres Sabores and Corizon Winery. The sisters, along with tour operator, have leveraged their professional and personal relationships to provide an exclusive wine experience. A detailed itinerary with pricing is available at the Wine And Tours website and at

Guests will stay at the River Terrace Inn, a luxury boutique hotel in downtown Napa overlooking the Napa River. “Right now,” says Nowak, “we’re planning a Friday night Chocolate Martini Party at the hotel after dinner. After all, a girl needs an occasional break from wine. And what better choice than chocolate?”

Group size for the Girlfriend Napa Getaway is limited to 14. Reservations can be made by calling Tamara Whiteside of Wine And Tours at 1-877-494-6386.
