Basic Spirituality Sought in Honest Reflections from the Heart, Published by Outskirts Press

Denver, CO, March 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Outskirts Press, Inc. has published Honest Reflections from the Heart: Eternal Perspectives by Donald K. Stewart (D.Min., D.M.E.), the author's most recent book to date. The 6 x 9 paperback is a Christian religious life and devotional study and is available worldwide on book retailer websites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The webpage at www.outskirtspress.com/honestreflectionsfromtheheart was launched simultaneously with the book's publication.

One often hears that “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” (Jeremiah 17:9)

But one also hears that “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God” (Matthew 5:8).

Donald K. Stewart’s new book asks the question: What kind of heart does the reader have, and what proceeds from his or her innermost being? Honest Reflections From The Heart seeks to connect with its readers’ own hearts, convictions, passions, struggles and fears. The book challenges readers to examine their spiritual foundations, to re-examine their religious persuasions, to evaluate their ritualistic practices and to confront their legalistic perspectives – all in their search for life-transforming truth.

The author notes that, as Jesus rightly said, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32).

68 pages in length, Honest Reflections from the Heart: Eternal Perspectives is being aggressively promoted to appropriate markets with a focus on the Religion, Christian life and devotional categories. With U.S. wholesale distribution through Ingram and Baker & Taylor, and pervasive online availability through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and elsewhere, Honest Reflections from the Heart meets consumer demand through both retail and library markets with a suggested retail price of $12.95.

Additionally, Honest Reflections from the Heart can be ordered by retailers or wholesalers for the maximum trade discount price set by the author in quantities of ten or more from the Outskirts Press wholesale online bookstore at www.outskirtspress.com/buybooks

About the Author: Donald Karl Stewart is Pastor at the Portmore Lane Covenant Community Church. He was born to devoted Anglican parents, Henry and Esmie Stewart, who provided for him a solid religious foundation, a stable family life and a diverse social environment conducive to both exploration and introspection. He was born again in 1976, with Charismatic connections and evangelistic zeal and was eventually given marching orders by his liberal, ecumenical priest from St. Mary, the Virgin Anglican Church (99 Molynes Road) in the Summer of 1979. He married petite Andrea Shepherd in 1984.

After teaching Mathematics and Physics for nine years at the Ardenne High School (Jamaica W.I.), he surrendered to the call for full-time Christian ministry at the Covenant Community Church in 1986.
