Accomplice Press, LLC Announces an Open Submission Call to Authors in All Genres They Publish

Montgomery, AL, April 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Accomplice Press, a new boutique-style independent publisher, is launching several new specialty romance book lines and is currently seeking new authors with unique voices and stimulating manuscripts in all the genres they publish. The editor is looking for: Excellence in writing, originality, plotting, voice, setting, character and dialogue. With several new lines being released in the upcoming months the company has a greater need for new submissions.

The company introduced their Curvalicious line by hosting a writing competition that began in February and ends May 14, 2010. This romance line features smart, sexy, plus size heroines that always get the man of their dreams without changing their dress size. There are two categories for Curvalicious. Sweet: normal romance without explicit sex and Spicy: normal romance with explicit sex. The contest submissions department is still taking entries and all imperative details are available at accomplicepress.com. Curvalicious manuscripts for the contest are short story length. However, starting May 15, 2010 the publisher will be accepting both short stories (to be e-published only, with select manuscripts going into periodic print anthologies) and full length manuscripts for both e-book & print publishing. Please see the submission guidelines for length guidelines for anything submitted after May 15, 2010.

The publisher is pleased to announce the creation of two new romance lines: Silver Sirens and Men in Uniform. Silver Sirens will be about intelligent, experienced, strong woman age forty and up who are falling in love for the first time or finding it again. All Silver Sirens will not be Cougars, the plot lines will follow real people; although the older woman and younger man scenario is enticing it is not the norm. The Men in Uniform line will have heroic leading men that are Firemen, Police Officers, and Military Men. Silver Sirens and Men in Uniform manuscripts can be either sweet romance or erotic romance and they can be of any length as long as they adhere to the strict genre and submission requirements.

"Our specialty lines will be targeted to a small and largely overlooked, less vocal portion of the public but the differences in our characters will not be force fed to the reader. The lines themselves define what they are so that the author can dedicate their honed writing skills to telling stories and not making excuses for the characters un-marketability in mainstream publishing. With Accomplice Press the focus has been taken away from marketing solely to the masses. We will instead represent the untapped, uncultivated and un-catered to, real people in our society." - Karen Jones, Public Relations Manager

Accomplice Press is not a self-publishing company, the firm assumes all monetary risks and at no cost to the author, they provide their proficient editing services and an ISBN.
